If it starts to bleed, place a clean handkerchief over the area and apply pressure by biting it down.
If bleeding does not stop, contact us immediately for further advice.
Wait for two hours after surgery before eating to allow the sedative or anaesthesia to wear off.
After the anaesthesia wears off, you might feel a little discomfort. You may use a household painkiller but not Aspirin.
Avoid smoking and alcohol for 24 hours.
Minimise intake of hot and cold drinks.
Limit your diet to soft foods for a few days.
